Through the process of suction, it is then collected in the spaces of the V or U-shaped vanes that radiate towards the shaft walls. The rotor is usually set at a typical speed of 22 rpm and hence, the material flows out of the outlet shafts at a very slow pace.

The body and cover are made of strong metals that can withstand extreme air pressure, while the ends of the shaft covers are wielded into the system to ensure that no air is leaked from the body.
