Her mother was imprisoned (jailed) for drug possession when she was a small child and while her father was caught for smuggling the drugs. And because of this, Kristina was being raised and bought up by her grandparents and aunt.
In 2014 her father completed his punishment and was released. Her mother opted for the right path in life and became sober after her release from jail.

Kristina dated Romain Karan for several years and got married. Kristina and Romain Karan are the parents of a single daughter named Athena Romina Karan.
Kristina likes to travel, so she has lived in several parts of the US. But she loves her birthplace, so she has stayed the most in California.
